BIOGRAPHY Boulder Colorado photographer, Stephen Collector started his career assisting in a photography studio in 1975. After several years he began freelancing, specializing in tabletop product photography. Eventually, drawn by a new challenge he began to shift his emphasis toward location work. This led to both editorial and corporate work. Collector freelances for numerous National Magazines, among them: German Geo, Esquire, Men's Journal, Outside, Forbes, Fortune, Fast Company, and Wine Spectator. Corporate Clients include: United Airlines, Ball Corporation, Shell, Dekalb Energy, Hain/Celestial Seasonings, Horizon Dairy, United Technologies, Oracle, McDonnell Douglas, Quaker Oats, Sears, Roebuck & Co, and Burroughs Corporation to name a few. "I am excited by the variety of subject matter in the world. For a time I specialized but am now realizing that my studio background supports my location work and my location work supports the studio. Fully digital with film capability. Working with light is my love, both in color and in black and white.
Collector's
